Here are some basic tips which may help you choose. 1.Are you going to use more than one tool at the same time? If so add up the free air required which is approx 75 to 80% of the air displacement. A handy formula if working in litres per min. is 1 cu ft per min = 28 litres a minute 2.If you are using a 2.5 - 3 Hp motor a 30 amp power supply is best. This will avoid blowing fuses or damage to the electric supply. 3. Most air tools have 1/4 BSP fittings although some large machines may use 3/8 BSP, so be careful when selecting fittings . A full range is available on the website 4. An 8mm bore airline should be the minimum size used to ensure good airflow ; make sure to use one only as long as is absolutely necessary.
