Ratchet wrenches are esstenial tools to tighten or loosen nuts and bolts. They have a button on them which is called a socket realse button. This releases the socket after use. Ratchets come with different 'comfort grip handles'. It determines how long you can consistently turn this type of wrench without interruption. Some ratchets have low profile head that allows for better clearance when trying to fasten or loosen a nut and bolt. The size of the drive tang (1/4", 3/8" or 1/2") will determine what size socket you will use. The directional switch feature will automatically adjust turning to the correct direction as you tighten or loosen.
