Features

The newly updated Laser airbag removal tool kit has been designed to bring together many of the airbag latch tools required for modern cars, to enable the safe removal of the vehicles airbag module from the steering wheel without causing damage to the airbag or surrounding components/trim. Vehicle model coverage has been brought up to date, including tooling for BMW and VW Group 2020 models.

Specification

  • Manufacturer applications include: BMW, Citroën, Fiat, Ford, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Renault, Vauxhall and Volkswagen Group.
  • Tool set includes: 1/4"D tamperproof Star* T25 socket bit (BMW) and Star* T30 socket bit (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Vauxhall/Opel and VW Group). 1/4"D 5mm Hex socket bit (VW Group), plus a selection of specially shaped levers for releasing airbag holding springs.
  • Kit also includes a specially shaped spring hook for Land Rover (also available separately, Part No. Laser 7345), Vauxhall/Opel Insignia and Astra from Laser 2008 (Part No. Laser 6583).
  • Included tools equivalent to OEM JC100, T10119, T10610, T40207 and 501-106.
  • Before removing the airbag always disconnect the vehicle battery and observe any recommended waiting times. Please refer to the vehicle manufacturers instructions before use. Supplied in an EVA foam tray convenient for user storage and limiting packaging waste.
