The on/off switch prevents short-circuiting of the terminals and draining of the battery. The unit is easy to use with its color LED charging lights and battery level indicator. There is a 12V outlet which is also used for memory saver mode. The unit is equipped with a reverse polarity alarm, anti-spiking, and a 300A in-line fuse to protect against excessive current output.
