Description
Wire wool, which can also be referred to as steel wool, is an abrasive material suitable for the cleaning and surface preparation of metal, wood, and glass surfaces both in the workshop and at home. This medium grade is ideal for removing marks and corrosion, together with paint and varnish when used with a chemical stripper, and is suitable for preparing wood for the first coat of paint along with smoothing raised grain. Scrunched-up wire wool can also be used to block up small holes and cracks in a property to prevent rodents from entering without the use of harmful chemicals, poisons, or traps.
