Features
The Connect 34327 Braided Fabric Heat-Shrink Sleeving Master Kit includes a butane gas-powered hot air gun and a selection of fabric heat-shrink sleeves in sizes ranging from 12mm to 80mm in diameter. Ideal for use on wiring looms, coolant pipes, fuel lines, and battery cabling, the flexible, abrasion-resistant material provides protection in both hot and cold environments—perfect for engine bays and vehicle undercarriages. It helps reduce vibration noise and minimises wear on wiring and pipes caused by friction. As well as its protective function, the sleeving can also be used to enhance the appearance of engine bays and other areas during restorations. Equally ideal for the professional and enthusiast. Suitable for a wide range of applications, including automotive, marine, and robotics.
Specification
- Braided heat-shrink sleeving for use on wiring looms, coolant pipes, fuel lines & battery cabling. Will shrink in size 2:1 when heat is applied using the dedicated gas operated hot air gun.
- Kit contains 5x heat shrink sleeves, Sizes: 12mm x 2m, 20mm x 2m, 40mm x 2m, 60mm x 2m & 80mm x 2m.
- Operating temperature: -40°C to +125°C. Protects against fluids including; water, oils, hydraulic fluid, fuels & antifreeze. Also protects against electromagnetic interference, chafing & can help guard against rodent damage to wiring & pipes on dormant vehicles.
- Also features a Butane powered hot air gun, Laser Part No. 8815, all supplied in a plastic storage case with carrying handle.
