Description
The late-model 1.0L and 1.4L direct injection petrol engines used across the Vauxhall, Opel, and MG ranges feature a small, centrally mounted fuel injector.
Features
These injectors are positioned low between the camshafts and in line with the spark plugs. It has become apparent that removing these injectors requires significant force. The most efficient method is to use an appropriately sized slide hammer and adaptor. The Laser 9312 Injector Removal Adaptor is specifically designed to bolt directly to the injector’s fuel rail mounting, allowing the attachment of a 5/8" UNF threaded slide hammer, such as the Laser 2.2kg Slide Hammer (available separately, Part No. 5850). NOTE: The injectors are angled toward the front of the engine and must be pulled at the same angle to avoid bending.
