Laser Tools have introduced this brake shoe setting kit for Volkswagen and Ford electric vehicles that use rear drum brakes. Drum brakes are better suited to the unique characteristics of electric vehicles. The main reasons for this return to drum brake technology include: Minimal use: EVs rely primarily on regenerative braking, reducing the use of the conventional braking system. Reduced corrosion: Disc brakes can corrode heavily when used infrequently, whereas drum brakes offer better protection against corrosion. Lower rolling resistance and cost: Drum brakes are designed so that the brake shoes do not drag on the drum when not applied.

- Applications include: Audi Q4 e-tron (Sportback & SUV); Cupra Born & Tavascan; Ford Explorer EV & Capri EV; Skoda ELROQ & ENYAQ (Coupe & IV SUV); VW ID 3, 4, 5 & 7, ID Buzz Cargo & Bus).
- Designed to ensure the brake shoes are in the correct position to ensure the EPB is correctly set prior to fitting the drum.
- Supplied with shoe adjustment pliers to allow the shoe position to be set with ease.
- Equivalent to OEM: T10623 & T10635/1/2/3. NOTE: Use in accordance with OEM instructions.
