Representing a significant shift in automotive repair technology, this unit is specifically designed for "express" dent pulling. By combining a resistance welder and a slide hammer into a single, cordless handheld tool, it eliminates the need for transformers and cables. The 11.1V battery is designed to be charged using the supplied 12V charger. Unlike traditional stud welders, which require welding a pin, attaching a separate slide hammer, pulling, and then cutting the pin off, this unit performs all steps in a single motion. Simply press the tip against the bare metal of the dent. When the trigger is pulled, the 11.1V battery delivers a high-current pulse to create a localized spot weld. The integrated slide hammer allows you to immediately pull the metal back. A simple 90-degree twist shears the small weld point, freeing the tool to move to the next high or low spot instantly. All components are supplied in a robust plastic storage case.
