Description
This coating thickness gauge is a portable, non-destructive instrument designed to measure the thickness of protective coatings such as paint, enamel and rust-proof layers on metal surfaces. The device automatically identifies the base material and uses magnetic induction to measure coatings on steel (ferrous metals) and eddy current technology for aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, making it ideal for automotive, manufacturing and inspection applications. Measurement results are clearly displayed in micrometres (µm/microns) or millimetres (mm) for accurate and reliable readings.

- Applications include: automotive bodywork, commodity inspection & manufacturing. Ideal for both workshop & outdoor use.
- Resolution: 0.1um/0.01mils. Accuracy: ±3%+2um/0.08mils. Measuring range: 0~1500um (0~59.1mils).
