Description
Two pairs of thread-correcting dies designed to repair damaged threads on truck axles. Includes one right-hand threaded pair and one left-hand threaded pair.
Features
Simply mount the dies in the supplied frame on an undamaged section of the thread, then wind back to restore the damaged area. Lubricate with suitable cutting oil. Manufactured from high carbon alloy steel, with a carbon steel frame.
Specification
- Designed to re-cut old damaged threads M75 x 1.5mm left & right-hand threads.
- Applications include MAN & SAF axles with M75 R/H & L/H threads.
- Supplied with a simple heavy-duty carbon steel frame.
- UK Patent Pending. NOTE: Ensure correct pair are selected & assemble the dies on the good part of the thread to ensure the repaired thread is not crossed.
- Always ensure the cutting teeth of the tool are kept well lubricated with grease or oil.
