Description
As a result of customer requests, Laser Tools has introduced an extra-long straight edge, ideal for a wide range of automotive and engineering tasks. It is particularly useful for checking distortion and flatness of cylinder heads, engine blocks, sump pans and other machined surfaces. Use with a feeler gauge set to measure clearance between the surface and the straight edge, helping to prevent gasket failures and engine damage.

- Straight edge with bevelled & flat edges.
- Applications include: Cylinder head flatness, engine block flatness & cylinder liner deck heights, flywheel & clutch inspections (warpage), DSG clutch alignment & mating surface checks.
- Dimensions: 900 x 50 x 6mm.
- Manufactured from S50C carbon steel plate to an accuracy of 0.03mm.
- NOTE: Always store flat or hanging to protect straight edges from damage. Comes supplied in an EVA foam tray.. Part of the Laser engineers’ range, for 610mm see Laser Part No. 5371,
