This crankshaft locking and holding tool is designed to lock the crankshaft on the N47 (2.0L) and N57 (3.0L) diesel engines found in the BMW range. It is specifically required when replacing or repairing the secondary drive chains.

This crankshaft locking and holding tool is designed to lock the crankshaft on the N47 (2.0L) and N57 (3.0L) diesel engines found in the BMW range. It is specifically required when replacing or repairing the secondary drive chains.

Specification

  • Applications: BMW N47, N57 1.6, 2.0 and 3.0L diesel engines (2007 - 2013).
  • Equivalent to OEM 11 4 320 and 83 30 2 318 429.
  • For use with Laser Timing Tool Kit, Part No. Laser 5196. The Laser Laser 5196 kit provides all the camshaft and crankshaft timing tools required for camshaft primary drive chain replacement.
  • Made in Sheffield.
