Crankshaft positioning tool for use on BMW N47 engines for locking the diesel crankshaft in its timed position.

Specification

  • Applications: BMW N47 1.6 and 2.0L diesel engines (from 05 2013).
  • Equivalent to BMW OEM 2 285 671.
  • For use with Laser Timing Tool Kit, Part No. Laser 5196.
  • Used to measure the amount of chain stretch without dismantling the whole engine. Also useful on equivalent PSA engines and Toyota Verso with engine code: D-4D 1WW.
  • Made in Sheffield.
