Description
DPF (Diesel Particulate Filters) on HGVs are often large and heavy, and can be mounted in awkward positions, such as behind a front wheel. This makes removal difficult, especially if the DPF has been on the vehicle for some time and exposed to dirt, road salt and soot build-up.
Features
The Laser 9340 DPF removal tool has been introduced following customer requests for a tool suitable for the DAF CF range.
Specification
- Designed to allow the controlled removal of the DPF on the vehicles listed below.
- Applications include: DAF CF, XF, XG, XD, Tatra Phoenix & Solaris Urbino buses.
- Equivalent to OEM 2124327.
- Clamps on to the inside lip of the DPF to allow it to be pulled out using the force screw provided. Lubricate the force screw with Molybdenum disulphide grease only.
- Black Phosphate finish. For Scania please see Laser Part No. 8929.
