Features
Tired of fighting corroded heat shield clips? Underbody clamping washers are notorious for turning a quick job into a headache. These lightweight sprung steel clips are designed to push on easily, but once corrosion sets in, they often snap or, worse, bend the mounting pin. The Laser 9426 changes the game. Instead of prying and hoping for the best, this specialised double-ended tool engages with the washer based on its design. When attached to a cordless drill or 1/4" drive wrench, the washer can be smoothly wound off the thread. This saves the clip, protects the vehicle’s mounting pins, and, most importantly, keeps your fingers safe from the sharp edges of broken steel.
Specification
• For the quick and safe removal/fitting of clamping washers which are used on underbody heat shields etc.
• OEM clip applications include: OEM N90335004, N90335006, N90796501 & 6715468. The clips are also found on many other vehicle marques.
• 1/4"D with quick chuck end for use with 1/4"D wrenches, drivers or with cordless drills.
• Manufactured from aluminium, with steel pins. Patent Pending.
• Compatible with Connect clamping discs for VW Group, please see Part Nos. 36149, 36150, 36415, 36416, 36481 & 30286 (150pc assorted box).
