Features
An essential set of emergency safety equipment for any workshop where there is a potential risk of an EV fire (or EV battery fire), creating a threat to personal health & safety, and/or risk to premises and property. If the potential for a fire is suspected, an infra-red thermometer will identify possible hot-spots within the vehicle/battery, and the chemical cartridge mask will keep technicians safe from any noxious gases which may be escaping unseen. The vehicle fire blanket should be used to cover the suspect vehicle in order to starve any potential fire from oxygen, and thus minimise potential risks until the emergency services can attend. Posts and chains, along with warning signs, will ensure members of the public and/or employees are kept at a safe distance.
